NASA's Mars missions face a two-week blackout as the Red Planet is obscured by the sun

The rovers Perseverance (pictured) and Curiosity, as well as helicopter Ingenuity and the lander InSight, will all lose connection with Earth from October 2, the US space agency has announced.
