Google Maps gets a 700-TRILLION-pixel upgrade: New satellite images provide sharpest images yet of the planet's surface

The Mountain View-based web giant first released its cloud-free map of the world in 2013, but has updated the global mosaic with high resolution photos taken by the Landsat 8 satellite, such as this one of Alaska.
