Ancient Roman graffiti depicts epic gladiator battles and chariot race rivalries

Archaeologists have uncovered hundreds of stone carvings, like the one illustrated, at the ancient city of Aphrodisias in Turkey from the time when it was under the rule of the Roman Empire.
