Alarm on the West coast as a US Navy submarine fires a nuclear-capable missile

A Navy spokesman confirmed that the mysterious light was in fact an unarmed Trident II (D5) missile that was fired from the USS Kentucky, a ballistic missile submarine, over Southern California.
