A 2,000-year-old golden horse head statue suggests Romans and Germans lived peacefully until 9AD 

The head is part of a large statue that weighed 900 pounds (410 kg) and featured Roman emperor Augustus abreast the beast in Waldgirmes, an ancient settlement near modern-day Frankfurt.
