2,600-year-old human BRAIN was preserved thanks to oxygen-free clay mud, archaeologists reveal

Experts from York Archaeological Trust believe the 2,600-year-old brain was preserved because it was buried in a sealed clay pit and fats and proteins linking together in the organ.
