Day one of Byron Bay’s winter festival was an eclectic mix of homegrown upstarts and returning visitors, with most genres and fans pretty much catered forMelbourne’s Ecca Vandal was just the second act on the main stage at Splendour, but she wasn’t interested in doing things by half.
