There aren’t many people who can host a radio set for their nineteenth birthday and invite the likes of Skepta, P Money and Jammer to touch mic. There also aren’t many people who can make a Grime track from 2016 sound as though it was made back in 2004, in the early days of the scene’s history. Yet Novelist has managed to do both of those things in the space of two weeks.
