Michigan man's 'heart in a box' operation is state's first to transplant the still-beating organ into a patient

Ken Miller, 58, became the first patient in Michigan to receive a beating-heart transplant, in which the organ is still beating when given to the recipient. Mr Miller called the procedure 'simply a miracle.'
