Wolverine Dev Denies Using GenAI After Weird-Looking In-Game Sign Discovered

Fans recently discovered an odd-looking bathroom sign in Marvel's Wolverine, prompting people to wonder if developer Insomniac Games used generative AI.According to Insomniac's community and marketing director James Stevenson, that's a bunch of baloney. The reason the bathroom image looks weird is because of a "UV map bug," he said. A fix is now in the works.
"There are no AI-generated assets in Marvel’s Wolverine," Stevenson said.
