Lundin Petroleum to spin off non-Norwegian assets
Swedish oil firm Lundin Petroleum plans to spin off its assets outside of Norway in a separately listed company and will hand out shares in the new firm to its owners, it said in a statement on Monday. Separately the company's Norwegian unit announced an oil discovery in the Arctic Barents Sea, while Lundin also set an output target for 2017 that was below forecasts in a Reuters poll of analysts.
