Home Alone mansion sold for a festive $5,000,000 after months on market

The mansion’s exterior was used as the McCallister family home in both Home Alone and the 1992 sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York – and looks much like it did then.
The Illinois house was put up for sale for $5,250,000 (£4.11m) in May, but now the listing says &l
