Bissinger, Friday Night Lights was first adapted into a 2004 movie before being turned into a TV series.Running for five seasons between 2006 and 2011 it followed a high school football team in the fictional town of Dillon, a small, close-knit community in rural West Texas.It starred Kyle Chandler and Connie
