UK plans to introduce border controls on EU goods after post-Brexit transition

Britain plans to introduce import controls on European Union goods at the border after its post-Brexit transition period ends on Dec. 31 this year, senior minister Michael Gove said on Monday.Britain has committed to applying EU rules during the 11-month transition period.It plans to negotiate a free trade deal to govern its future relationship with the bloc, which taken as a whole is its largest trading partner, by the end of the year.
