Uber rival Ola banned from operating in London

London's transport regulator has banned taxi app Ola from working in the capital over what it says are the company's "safety failings". Transport for London (TfL) told Ola, an emerging rival to Uber which has only operated in the UK since February, that it had been deemed not "fit and proper" to hold a licence.
