Covid-19 hits profits at mining giant Vedanta as Agarwal delisting plans continue

Mining conglomerate Vedanta saw its profit slip by almost a quarter in the three months to the end of June after demand took a beating during the pandemic. Vedanta, the oil-to-aluminium conglomerate backed by billionaire Anil Agarwal, said revenue dropped 25pc on a year earlier to 156.9bn rupees (£1.65bn).
