Closing Carluccio’s set to cost £1.2m

Administrators overseeing failed restaurant firm Carluccio’s will collect an estimated £1.2m in fees while suppliers get nothing, Companies House documents show. The Italian chain was one of the earliest corporate victims of the Covid-19 crisis after a slump in trading from mid-March as the public was urged to stay away from pubs and restaurants before full lockdown was imposed.
