Rebuilding the Ferhadija Mosque in Bosnian
This extract, from the recently released The Destruction of Memory (2016), shows the rebuilding of the Ferhadija Mosque in Bosnian, two decades after it was destroyed in 1993 during the Bosnian War. The restoration was led by Muhamed Hamidovic, a professor of architecture from Sarajevo, who had sketched the mosque as a student. The film is based on a book of the same name by Robert Bevan.
