New York artists respond to 9/11

The day after the 15th anniversary of the 11 September attacks, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York opens an exhibition that looks at artists reactions to the event and its lingering legacy.
 
Thirteen artists, all of whom have direct ties to New York and some of who were directly affected by the attacks, are represented in Rendering the Unthinkable: Artists Respond to 9/11 (opening 12 September). Among them is Christopher Saucedo, whose brother, a firefighter, died in the North Tower
