For his first solo show in a decade, Quinn comments on the destruction of nature using graffiti-lite wall hangings and heavy metal shells. But is there anything interesting about his bad-taste art? Marc Quinn operates in a realm beyond good taste, which is a potentially interesting place to be. After all, Jeff Koons has made a life’s work of revealing the beauty and humour of despised or banal stuff. But Quinn has never shown Koons’s self-consciousness or wit. H
