Gerald Grosvenor, the sixth Duke of Westminster, who possessed one of the greatest privately owned collections of Old Masters, died on 9 August, aged 64. The freehold owner of 300 acres in Mayfair and Belgravia, central London, the duke increased his wealth (estimated at 8bn) through his work as a property developer.
