The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design possess the countrys most comprehensive collection of art, architecture, and design and receives about 750,000 visitors every year. A new museum complex is under construction in central Oslo, and when opened in 2020 it will be one of the largest art museums in Northern Europe.
