A floating forest grows in Queens

With the holidays past, a familiar sight in New York in January is the stacks of discarded Christmas trees left on the curb for collection. But rather than let the winter blues set in, the artist Michael Neff has extended the life of some of these fine firs with the room-sized Suspended Forest at the Knockdown Center in Maspeth, Queens.
