Weir signs for Lyon after Real Madrid exit

Lyon have announced the signing of Caroline Weir on a free transfer following her exit from Real Madrid.
Weir – Madrid's all-time leading goalscorer – announced last week that she would be leaving the Spanish capital and has now signed a three-year deal with Lyon.
The Scotland international spent four years with Madrid, scoring 63 goals in her 125 appearances after signing from Manchester City in 2022.
