Ronaldo makes history with 977th goal

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the new Saudi Pro League season by scoring his 977th career goal as Al-Nassr thrashed Al-Diriyah 4-0 on Friday.
The 41-year-old Portugal captain came off the bench and needed only 21 minutes to make his mark, scoring Al-Nassr’s fourth goal in the 83rd minute after earlier strikes had put the hosts in control.
