Shiite ban: El-Rufai playing jury, prosecutor – IMN

By Luka BinniyatKADUNA – The Islamic Movement in Nigeria, banned in Kaduna State three weeks ago by Governor Nasir el-Rufai,    has accused    the governor of being the jury and at the same the prosecutor in their case.
The IMN in a press statement yesterday in Kaduna, signed by its wanted spokesman, Ibrahim Musa, also said the banning of the group amounted to  a crackdown on religious minority, insisting the governor had no power to  ban a faith.
