10 rescued in Lagos building collapse

No fewer than 10 persons were rescued alive on Thursday after a two-storey building collapsed at Alakija Bus Stop, Satellite Town, along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident in a statement issued by its Director, Mrs Margaret Adeseye.Adeseye said the service received a distress call at 11:37 a.m. and immediately deployed emergency responders from the Ijegun-Egba Fire Station to the scene at Old Ojo Road, near Alakija Bus Stop.She said the r
