Woman takes Rs 3L loan to look after street dog

A homemaker in Nadia’s Kalyani has taken a personal bank loan of Rs 3.3 lakh and sold her jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh against the wish of her husband all for the sake of his love for street dogs. Nilanjana Biswas (45) feeds, treats and arranges vaccination for 400 street dogs and she does all this by herself.
