In bid to help Kolkata friend, senior citizens lose Rs 2.6L to frauds

Senior citizens in London and Mumbai were defrauded of Rs 2.6 lakh by cyber criminals who created a fake email ID using their friend's name from Kolkata. The hackers accessed Deepak Mukerjee's email account and sent deceptive messages asking for financial aid, causing significant financial harm to the victims.
