Stunning images of Jupiter before Juno’s arrival

Researchers at the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Chile have captured stunning new images and prepared the highest-resolution maps to date of Jupiter, a week ahead of the arrival of NASA’s Juno spacecraft at the giant planet on July 4.
