Skype to shut down Qik video-messages service by March 24

Skype acquired Qik in 2011 and launched it as a stand-alone app for Android and iOS platforms.
Skype will do away with its Qik feature by March 24, the video-calling service announced in a blog post. Skype said that all the best features of Qik, like filters and video messaging has already been integrated to the service.
