RJio effect? After Idea, Airtel now slashes prepaid data tariffs

Bharti Airtel has announced revised rates for some its prepaid data recharge packs.
In what seems to be preparation for the competition from Relaice Jio services expected to launch next month, Bharti Airtel has announced revised rates for some its prepaid data recharge packs. Airtel says the new scheme increases data benefits on prepaid packs by up to 67 per cent.
Under the revised Airtel data benefits, the Rs 655 4G/3G monthly recharge pack will now offer 5GB data, as compared to 3GB earlier.
