Reliance Communication puts on hold Facebook’s Free Basics service after Trai directive

Telecom regulator Trai has asked Reliance Communications(RCom) to keep services of Facebook’s free Internet platform, Free Basics, in abeyance, till the issue on differential pricing is sorted out. As directed by the Telecom Regulator Authority of India (Trai), Reliance Communication on Wednesday said that it has put on hold the launch of the Facebook Free Basics service.
