Google, HTC sign $1.1 billion cooperation agreement

Under the agreement, Google will acquire a team of HTC employees, many of whom have worked with the company on its Pixel smartphone, as well as non-exclusive licenses to some of the Taiwanese company#39;s intellectual property to help bolster hardware efforts.
