COEP takes a giant leap in space with ‘Swayam’ successfully launched to orbit

It was a euphoric moment for students of the College of Engineering here as the academic satellite developed by them – “Swayam” – was successfully placed in orbit along with 19 others on Wedneday.
The cube shaped satellite weighs less than 1,000 grams and aims to ensure point to point communication even in remote places.
