ASUS India eyes 50% market share in gaming laptops by 2016

Taiwan-based technology major ASUS India said on Friday it is eyeing to capture 50 per cent share of the gaming laptops market in India by next year.
“We have about 30 per cent market share of gaming laptops in India. With continued focus in the segment, we are aiming to achieve 50 per cent share of it by the next year. In gaming desktops segment, we are the major player,” said company’s Regional Head (South Asia) and Country Manager (System Business Group) Peter Chang.
