Apple ties up with WWF to launch Apps for Earth

Apple has teamed up with WWF to launch Apps for Earth on its App Store. Apple has announced that users can access these exclusive apps, created for the campaign till April 24. These 24 apps are designed with the idea of conservation of forests, oceans, fresh water and wildlife, food and climate change in mind.
During the campaign, all the proceeds from the purchase of Apps for Earth apps or an associated In-App Purchase, will go to WWF. Also, Apple launched a revamped apple.com/environment page.
