Apple iOS 10 will give a little bit more control. Starting with iOS 10 beta, Apple will allow iPhone and iPad users to “remove” some built-in apps, and download them again later.
Apple has put out a support page highlighting exactly how to go about removing these apps, but points out that removing some apps could affect overall system functions.
