Climate change to impact Hindu Kush water supplies

More than a glacial retreat in Hindu Kush-Himalaya region, the shifts in rain and snow due to climate change are likely to have an impact on regional water supplies, a study said. Higher elevation areas could experience altered water flow in river basins if current rates of glacial retreat continue.
