Colorectal cancer, once considered a disease of older adults, is increasingly being diagnosed in younger people. A study by the American Cancer Society (ACS) found that early‑onset colorectal cancer cases are rising in 27 out of 50 countries worldwide. Research shows that diet and lifestyle choices play a major role in colorectal‑cancer risk.
