SC: Cops abusing authority must be dealt with sternly

The Supreme Court sternly stated that police officers abusing their position must face strict consequences, as normal presumptions for accused individuals won't apply. It cancelled anticipatory bail for three Maharashtra police officers accused of harassing a family and extorting money after a search on a train.
