India sees rise in both overweight and underweight

India's latest health survey shows below-normal BMI is not decreasing while overweight and obesity are rising. Women's normal BMI range fell significantly, and men's share also shrank considerably. Below-normal BMI increased in many states, and overweight or obesity rose even more widely. Urban areas show higher rates of both underweight and overweight conditions for men and women.
