New Lord of the Rings movie The Hunt for Gollum to release in 2026

A new Lord of the Rings movie is officially in the works. The film which is set to release in 2026 will revolve around Andy Serkis’ Gollum.As per reports, Peter Jackson who directed the original LOTR trilogy will return to produce alongside Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens. While the project is in the early stages of development, its working title is Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum.Andy Serkis is set to reprise his iconic role as Gollum. He will also direct the film.Last year, the st
