Rangers defeat Maple Leafs, lose McDonagh to injury

Derek Stepan scored the go-ahead goal with 1:31 remaining in regulation as the New York Rangers downed the NHL-worst Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 on Thursday night. Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh missed the final two periods after taking an elbow to the head.
