Matthias Mayer, Olympic downhill champion, plans return after breaking vertebrae

Olympic champion Matthias Mayer was released from the hospital Wednesday, 11 days after breaking two vertebrae while wearing a protective air bag in a much-debated World Cup downhill crash.
