Leafs scuttled by Red Wings prospect Svechnikov

Evgeny Svechnikov scored twice for Detroit to lead the Red Wings 2-1 past the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday night in NHL pre-season action at Hamilton's FirstOntario Centre.
