Canada improves medal hopes at women's baseball World Cup

Claire Eccles of White Rock, B.C., came within two outs of a no-hitter while Kate Psota of Burlington, Ont., went 4-for-4 and drove in a run as Canada defeated Venezuela 8-1 at the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup on Thursday. The win improved Canada's record to 2-1 in the playoffs, known as the Super Round.
