Blue Jays tap Stroman for opening day start

When the Blue Jays failed to make an offer to bring back David Price for the 2016 season it was widely assumed that Marcus Stroman would take over the No. 1 spot in the rotation. Manager John Gibbons made it official Wednesday, confirming that Stroman will be the opening day starter on April 3 against the Tampa Bay Rays.
