Phillies ace Wheeler to make franchise-record $42M US per season starting in 2025

Ace Zack Wheeler and the Philadelphia Phillies agreed Monday on a three-year, $126-million US contract for 2025-27, the fourth-highest average salary in baseball history at $42 million.
