WSIB changes policy on pre-existing medical conditions

Good news for some injured workers locally and across the province with news Friday from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board that it would no longer cut benefits for health conditions that pre-existed a workplace injury.
“Clearly, it’s great news for injured workers,” said Brian Hogan, president of the Windsor and District Labour Council, among the groups which had been lobbying for the change.
“The change in 2012 never should have happened. The (WSIB leaders) have b
